Leaving a Lasting Legacy For the Next Generation A simple way to help children & adults with intellectual disabilities and children & adults with mental health issues is to leave a gift in your Will. Read our Legacy Guide here. Any gift no matter how small or large will make a difference. Your Legacy will support: the little girl diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome, who needs specialist help, the woman battling severe depression, who has nowhere to turn, the elderly parents still caring for an adult son with intellectual disabilities and nowhere else to go; and, the teenage boy troubled by loud noises and bright lights, who simply needs a school and education that understands him. With a gift in your Will, your life-changing kindness can continue long into the future. The process for leaving a gift in your Will is not a complicated one. By explaining some of the terms involved, we hope to simplify it further: We recommend using a solicitor or experienced will writer for completing or updating your will.
